Mount Mayon, is an active volcano in the province of Albay, on the island of Luzon in the Philippines. Renowned as the "perfect cone" because of its almost symmetric conical shape, Mayon forms the northern boundary of Legazpi City, the most populous city in the Bicol Region. The mountain was declared a national park and protected landscape on July 20, 1938, the first in the country. It was reclassified a Natural Park and renamed Mayan Volcano National Park in the year 2000.
Ticao Island is one of the three major islands of Masbate province in the Philippines. The other two major islands are Masbate Island and Burias Island.
Donsol is one of the few places in the world that can offer an almost assured whale shark sighting from November to June. The name Donsol has become synonymous to whale sharks as the world's largest congregation of whale sharks are found here and the whale sharks stay in Donsol longer than any other place in the world. With simple snorkeling equipment, you will have the opportunity to swim alongside these gentle giants.
